Subin was born and raised in the small country town of Gunnedah, NSW, Australia. Surrounded by family and farmland, her love of nature and organic living became an intrinsic part of her life from a young age.

Best known for her celebrated modelling career, her introduction into the world of fashion came unexpectedly in 1997, when at age 13 a friend entered her into a modeling competition. Miranda subsequently won, which sparked significant media attention and she soon became the most sought-after new face in Australia.
